In your edit summary, you noted that the type species D. zibethinus is "certainly important" – I agree, and that is why I added more information about how it came to be called D. zibethinus. The previous version noted that "zibethinus" means "civet" but did not explain how this relates to durians. Zacwill (talk) 13:07, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
OK, well if you want more explanation then it can be added; clearly the durian stink reminded folks of civet stink. No intention to remove any addition, but your edit comment spoke of removal, as did the -87 bytes in the edit summary. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:10, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
