Tittybong is a locality in the northwest of Victoria, Australia, within the Shires of Gannawarra and Buloke. Tittybong is located west of Kerang and east of the Calder Highway. It is south of Swan Hill, Tittybong's nearest large town. At the 2016 census, Tittybong had a population of 3.[1]
History
[edit]The Tittybong Post Office opened on 1 January 1884 and closed in 1968.[2]
Popular Culture
[edit]In February 2025, Michael "Yorak" Hunt and his crew made an expedition to explore and publicize Tittybong, in which they published a YouTube video, detailing their roadtrip from Melbourne and showcasing some of the local areas in and around Tittybong.
Known Incidents
[edit]In the summer of February 2025 Michael "Yorak" Hunt crashed his P.E.R.V. (Performance Electronic Reconnaissance Vehicle) into a local tree while leaving the local Tittybong waterhole. The device was swiftly recovered after a few shocking "throws" of a water bottle
